How to Connect Channels ?

We have compiled the most commonly used online channels for you in Ek1. First, please complete your hotel's registration on these channels as described in Ek1. Afterward, you can proceed to the Elektraweb connection.


How to Connect a Channel in Elektraweb?

As described in Ek1, if you have created the description of your hotel on the online channel and obtained your ID, and selected Elektraweb as your channel manager, you can now easily connect Elektraweb to this channel.

The channel connection process in Elektraweb is the same for all channels and consists of 3 simple steps:

Open the Channel Card

Please go to the "Setup - Quick Setup" menu and navigate to the "Channels" tab or click on this link.

Press the "+" button to open a new channel connection card and fill in the basic settings as follows:

  • Channel: Select the channel you want to connect from the incoming list.

  • Hotel ID: If you have the hotel ID from the channel, enter it here.

  • Agency: Choose the agency in Elektra for reservations coming from the channel. If not available, you can create an agency with the same name.

  • Currency on the Channel: Select the currency in which you have defined prices on the channel. Typically, EUR is chosen for foreign channels, and TRY for local channels. Price Multiplier: If you want prices to be higher or lower for this channel, select a multiplier.

  • Price Multiplier: If you want the prices to be higher or lower for this channel, choose a multiplier. For example, use 1.1 for a 10% increase or 0.9 for a 10% decrease. Typically, this field is left blank.

  • Calculate Discounts When Sending Prices: If you define discounts and promotions directly on the channel's extranet, the channel may offer certain advantages. In this case, you may wish to send prices without taking into account the discounts set in Elektraweb. To do this, leave this option unchecked.

  • Active: Check this box to activate the channel connection

To Retrieve Data From The Channel

To fetch the Room types and Rate type data defined in the channel, click on the "Fetch Data from the Channel" button in the bottom right corner in red color. If you don't receive any data after clicking the button, it may indicate that you haven't selected Elektraweb as your channel manager on the respective channel, or the approval for your selection is pending. To expedite the approval process, you can reach out to Elektraweb support or the support of the relevant channel and remind them about the pending approval. To contact Elektraweb, you can use connectivity@elektraweb.com

RoomTypes and RateType Mapping

After clicking the "Fetch Data from the Channel" button, the RoomType mapping and BoardType Mapping screens will be filled with data, shown in blue.

To match a specific room type, double click on it to enter the details.

  1. Select the corresponding RoomType in Elektraweb.

  2. Choose the RoomTypes and RateTypes in Elektraweb that correspond to the defined price types for this room type. The yellow areas will show the selections you made in Elektraweb.

When selecting RateType, make sure that the Rate model in both the channel and Elektraweb are the same. The RateType can be unit-based or person-based. Unit-based pricing sends a single price to the channel, and the channel calculates SNG, DBL, TRP prices based on the defined multipliers. Person-based pricing sends separate prices for SNG, DBL, TRP, and QUAD to the channel. Typically, unit-based pricing is preferred.

You don't need to enter the RateType Mapping screen separately because you have already mapped these Ratetypes in the Room Type Mapping screen. The RateType Mapping screen can be used to view all Rate types collectively.

Connection Test and Log Check

How do we test the channel connection?

To test the connection initially, prices for one day should be sent. If the send is successful, one year's occupancy and price data should be transmitted to the channel using the "Update Channel" action in the Channel card. After completing this process, you can test the occupancy and prices on the relevant channel's extranet.

The channel update should be performed only once when the channel is initially connected to Elektraweb for synchronization purposes. After the channel is connected, price and occupancy changes are automatically handled, and there is no need for further channel updates.

Control of Data Sent to the Channel

Approximately 2-3 minutes after the channel update process, you can view the response from the channel in the Channel Log menu. If the response in the log is "ok," it indicates that the data has been successfully received by the channel and stored with this key. During communication with the channel, they may request this key from you.

If there is a problem with the connection or identification, the error message you receive will indicate the specific identification issue causing the error, typically stated as "Error." To resolve this, you should go to the matching screen and correct the identification problem. After making the necessary corrections, you can perform the test again to ensure the connection is successful.

Ek1: Application Addresses of Online Channels

Before connecting with Elektraweb, you should apply to the desired channels and create your hotel profile with basic definitions. Each channel's application process may vary. To make it easier for you, we have compiled the application links for the most commonly used online channels that work with Elektraweb below.

By clicking on the provided link for your desired channel, you can complete your hotel's profile on that channel. Select Elektraweb as the channel manager and use the provided hotel ID for identification.

  • For Booking.com, after registering your hotel at https://account.booking.com/register, click on the "Account" menu in the top right corner. From there, select the "Connectivity Provider" option and choose Elektraweb. Booking.com will then send us a confirmation email. After we confirm, you can integrate the Booking.com channel in Elektraweb. Connect.

  • For Expedia, after registering your hotel at https://apps.expediapartnercentral.com/tr_TR/list?lang=tr, click on the "Rooms and Rates/Channel Manager Settings" option in the left menu. In the opened screen, click on "Edit" and select Elektraweb as the channel manager for both options (Availability & Prices, Reservations).

  • For Odamax, after registering your hotel at https://partners.odamax.com/sign_up, click on the "Hotel Management and Channel Manager" option in the left menu. Select "Elektraweb" as the channel manager by clicking on the "Channel Manager" option you are using.

    Next, in the left menu, go to the "Support" option, and contact Odamax authorities using the provided contact numbers. Request them to approve your Elektraweb connection request.

  • For Otelz, after registering your hotel at https://join.otelz.com/, click on the "Settings/Channel Manager Settings" option in the left menu. In the "Channel Manager" section, select Elektraweb as your channel manager.

    Ensure that the integration status of your channel management system with Otelz.com is marked as "Active" on the same screen.

  • For Hotelbeds, after registering your hotel at https://join.hotelbeds.com/s3/register-property, access the Hotelbeds extranet and click on the "Channel Manager" tab. On the opened page, select Elektraweb as your choice for both "Booking Management (BMS)" and "Inventory Management (HSI)" options.

  • For Jolly Tur, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://extranet.jollytur.ws/Home/Register. However, please note that Jolly Tur extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To connect with Elektraweb, you should get in touch with your Jolly Tur representative and request them to activate the Elektraweb connection for your hotel. Once the connection is activated, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for integration.

  • For Setur, if your hotel does not have a Setur account, you can create one by contacting the Setur support team at urun@setur.com.tr or by calling 0216 554 33 63.

    Please note that the Setur extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager. To enable the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Setur representative. They will assist you in activating the Elektraweb connection. The hotel code provided to you will be sufficient for the integration process.

  • For Tatilbudur, after registering your hotel at https://extranetbeta.tatilbudur.com/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=%2F, click on the "Tesis Ayarları" (Property Settings) option in the left menu. In the "Kanal Bilgisi" (Channel Information) section, select Elektraweb as your channel manager.

  • For Tatilsepeti, complete your hotel registration at https://www.tatilsepeti.com/tesis-ekle. However, please note that Tatilsepeti extranet does not offer an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To enable the Elektraweb connection, you should contact your Tatilsepeti representative. They will assist you in activating the Elektraweb connection for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for integration.

  • For Otelfiyat, complete your hotel registration at https://www.otelfiyat.com/otelinizi-ekleyin. Please note that Otelfiyat extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Otelfiyat representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is activated, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Airbnb, after registering your property at https://www.airbnb.com.tr/host/homes, follow these steps to find the Channel Hotel ID:

    1. Go to the top right corner and click on the "Profile" screen.

    2. In the address bar, locate the Channel Hotel ID at the end of the link.

    This Channel Hotel ID is essential for the integration process with Elektraweb or any other channel management system.

  • For Gezinomi, to create an account, you can contact them via email at onlinekanallar@gezinomi.com or call their phone number 0850 466 66 66.

    Please note that Gezinomi extranet does not offer an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager. To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Gezinomi representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Halalbooking, complete your hotel registration at https://tr.halalbooking.com/apply. Please note that Halalbooking extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Halalbooking representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Inhores, complete your hotel registration at http://hotelregister.inhores.com. Please note that Inhores extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Inhores representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Ctrip Tur, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://ebooking.ctrip.com/ebkovsassembly/HotelApply?type=2&channel=1&lang=1. Please note that Ctrip Tur extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Ctrip Tur representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Hoojoozat, you can create an account by contacting the Hoojoozat team at layal.k@hoojoozat.com. Please note that Hoojoozat extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Hoojoozat representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Hostelworld, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://signup.hostelworld.com/en/property/intro?referral=header_link. Please note that Hostelworld extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Hostelworld representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Odigeo Tur, complete your hotel registration at https://join.odigeoconnect.com/en/. Please note that Odigeo extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Odigeo representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Hyperguest, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://www.hyperguest.com/demo-hotel. Please note that Hyperguest extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Hyperguest representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Adonis, you can create an account by contacting the Adonis team via email at https://www.adonis.com/Contact. Please note that Adonis extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Adonis representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Lastminute, you can create an account by contacting the Lastminute team via email at hpconnectivity@lastminute.com. Please note that Lastminute extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Lastminute representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For HproTravel, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://www.hprotravel.com/account/sign-up. Please note that HproTravel extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your HproTravel representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Prestigia, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://www.prestigia.com/en/add-your-hotel.html. Please note that Prestigia extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Prestigia representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Google Connection, the steps to be taken beforehand are as follows:

    1. Go to Organization > Hotel Settings Panel > Hotel Information and define the hotel's location on the map, its full address, city, country information, and phone number.

    2. If your property is a guesthouse or pension, check whether the "pension type" field is properly defined in the system.

    3. If there is a "Cancellation Allowed" price plan within the price types, go to Organization > Hotel Settings Panel > Price Type Definitions and mark the "Cancellation Allowed" button. Define how many days/hours before the check-in date the reservation can be canceled in the system.

    After completing these steps correctly, your hotel will be ready for Google Connection, and it will start appearing on Google search results. Note: We can send your hotel description to your Google account. You can add the description and rules for your hotel from the Organization > Hotel Settings Panel > Hotel Information screen.

    Integration: In Elektraweb, go to Prices and Availability/Actions/Online Channels and follow these steps:

    1. Click on "Google > Channel Settings" button.

    2. Fill in the following fields and save:

      • Channel: Select "Google".

      • Hotel ID on the Channel: Enter your Elektraweb hotel ID.

      • User Code: Use "elektra_ari".

      • Elektraweb Agency Code: Select the agency you use for online reservations. (You need to select the agency that is chosen in the "Online Agency" field under Organization > Hotel Settings Panel > Default Hotel Settings > Online Reservation Settings.)

      • Currency on the Channel: Select the currency you use in Elektraweb's price and availability screen.

    3. After saving, click on the "Create Mappings" button. This will automatically fill in your defined room types, price plans, and pension types into the mapping rows. Then click on the "Get Data from the Channel" button.

    Once you complete the above steps, your request for Google integration will be submitted. Google will review your information and activate the integration within 7 business days. You can check by searching your hotel name on Google.

  • For SunHotels, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://www.sunhotels.com/en/join-us-form/. Please note that SunHotels extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your SunHotels representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Mr & Mrs Smith, you need to complete your hotel registration at https://smithhotels.typeform.com/to/o6A4P6?typeform-source=www.mrandmrssmith.com. Please note that Mr & Mrs Smith extranet does not provide an option to select Elektraweb as the channel manager.

    To activate the Elektraweb connection, you should get in touch with your Mr & Mrs Smith representative. They will assist you in enabling the Elektraweb integration for your hotel. Once the connection is active, they will provide you with the necessary hotel code for the integration process.

  • For Mercan Turizm, if you don't have a Mercan DMC account, you can request a new account by clicking on the "Channel Registration" button under the Mercan DMC option in the Elektraweb Prices and Availability/Actions/Online Channels section. This will allow you to apply for a new account with Mercan DMC for integration with Elektraweb for managing prices and availability.

  • For Agoda, after completing your hotel registration at https://ycs.agoda.com/homes/tr-tr/propertyWizard?cid=1893201#/property-type, follow these steps:

    1. Click on "Property/Property Settings" option in the top right corner.

    2. Under "Optional Settings," select the channel manager mode and choose Elektraweb as your channel manager.

    3. Your Channel Manager selection will be active after 30 minutes.

    Once your selection is active, you can proceed with the Elektraweb integration by using your Agoda Property ID, which is located next to your hotel name in the Agoda extranet.
